Biography

Wang Yi, MD, is an attending physician at the Center for Minimally Invasive Scar Treatment, Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He graduated from Peking University in 2019 with a doctoral degree in Surgery (Plastic Surgery). In the same year, he joined the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, where he successively completed plastic surgery specialty training at the Facial and Cervical Plastic Surgery Center, Gynecologic Plastic Surgery Center, Craniomaxillofacial Plastic Surgery Center, Fat Plastic Surgery Center, Scar Treatment Center, and Aesthetic Emergency and Trauma Center. He has extensive clinical experience, has participated in multiple clinical research projects, and has given presentations at academic conferences on multiple occasions.
Areas of Expertise:
1. Comprehensive scar treatment: individualized treatment plans are developed according to different scar types and patient needs, including plasma, laser, drug injection, pigment cell transplantation, surgical excision, ultra-tension-reducing fine suturing, intralesional dissection, fat grafting, etc.
2. Comprehensive treatment of keloids: the primary goal is to reduce the recurrence rate of keloids. Treatment modalities include surgical treatment (surgical excision, ultra-tension-reducing fine suturing, electron beam irradiation) and non-surgical treatment (drug injection, 595-nm pulsed dye laser, electron beam irradiation)
3. Acne scars: plasma, 595-nm pulsed dye laser, and other modalities are used to treat various types of acne scars
